What science fild did I transform into visual expression
for the Power of Nature pictures?

When we look at images that show natural elements such as
flowers, or animals the brain reacts in a special way - on a sensory as well as on an emotional and cognitive level.

Amygdala & limbic system gets activated.
Images of nature can evoke strong emotional responses – such as calm, joy, awe, or connection. The amygdala primarily processes emotional meaning – e.g. B. when depicting wild animals (danger) or cute animals (caring reaction).

Reward system (e.g. nucleus accumbens, orbitofrontal cortex) also gets activated.
Studies show that many people experience positive feelings and
even a form of "reward" when they see images of nature - similar to music or pleasant smells.

The Default Mode Network (DMN) also gets activated.
A network that is active when we relax, dream or think about ourselves. When viewing calm images of nature, mental activity can slow down, which is perceived as relaxing and contemp
lative.

Does is work? Do you feel the power of nature?
