What science fild did I transform into visual expression for the
Change the Rules pictures?

When we think creatively,
our brain engages in a complex and fascinating process.
Unlike routine problem-solving,
which often relies on familiar patterns,
creative thinking involves connecting ideas
in new and unexpected ways.
This process activates multiple brain regions
— particularly the prefrontal cortex, which is responsible for
planning and decision-making,
and the default mode network, which plays a key role in imagination and mind-wandering.

During moments of insight, the brain often shows
a burst of activity in the right hemisphere,
especially in the temporal lobe
— the area linked to recognizing patterns and forming associations.
Neurotransmitters like dopamine also play a crucial role,
boosting motivation and helping us explore novel possibilities.
In short, creativity is not a single "aha" moment,
but a dynamic interplay between
memory, emotion, and flexible thinking
— allowing us to break out of the ordinary and come up with truly original ideas.

I created the series Change the Rules to motivate you to think outside the box sometimes.
